In the end, we’ll discover the best title for your work. Bonus content: building familiarity with extension and compression as writing process strategies.

April 20 noon – 1 p.m. in person + online
Why’d you do it? Generating Compelling Artist Statements:
Focusing on the materiality of language, we’ll experiment with ways to generate language that reflects your work in exciting ways. Bonus content: creating specific, unique artist statements that move beyond generic approaches.

April 21 noon – 1 p.m. in person + online
Who made this? Auto-Conceptual Approaches to Writing (and talking!) about your work:
How do you talk about your work with others? This workshop will generate playful and super serious ways of talking about your art and design practice with whoever asks, ‘what’s this about?’ Bonus content: how to write an exciting artist bio.

April 22 noon – 1 p.m. in person only + online
Thanks a Bunch! Letter Writing as Reflective Practice:
